Another Spring Break is behind us, and we’re feeling mighty lucky to have a week to relax in the middle of March. Chris and I usually like to take advantage of our shared time off and get away. Since we’ve been together, we’ve taken eight trips over Spring break, from Florida to Washington D.C. to the Mall of America in Minneapolis. This year, we considered ourselves lucky to (mostly) stay home.

Snug as a bug in a rug

I’ve found Charlotte like this more than once in recent weeks:

She’s discovered that rugs make really cozy blankets for both you and your plastic companions (i.e. neigh neighs).

Also, I know the blog has been quieter lately. I know. I’m feeling uninspired lately, I guess. I mean, Charlotte has been a total freaking cute funny love bug, but when it comes to sitting down and writing something, I’ve been having a hard time coming up with something I want to share. Maybe it’s because I’ve been getting only about six hours of sleep each night, or because I’ve been a little more stressed than usual, or simply because I could be running out of good things to say. I dunno. Anyway, that’s the reason for all the crafty posts lately…they don’t take any brain power to write up! hehe

Tonight begins our spring break, and we’re planning for some quality R & R mostly at home. I CAN’T WAIT. (Oh, I guess I don’t have to now!) Tomorrow we head to Boone and Kelley for some quality time with the Doran side. Charlotte is excited to see her grandparents, but she is off-the-wall pumped to see the cows on Great-grandma Pat’s farm. She’s been talking about the mama, baby, and daddy cows ever since Pat was here a week and a half ago.

So I suppose I will have some new things to share here in the next few days after all! 🙂
