Toot-Toots and Nu-Nuus

Yesterday, Charlotte and I had lunch with Mimi, Mary, Amanda, and Sadie at a fun restaurant downtown Glen Ellyn called Two Toots. It’s a train-themed little diner with all the tables arranged around a train track that leads into the kitchen. When your food is ready, it comes to your table in little baskets via train! There are photos of old and new trains covering the walls, mini train whistles handed out to the little ones, Thomas the Train playing on a TV in the corner, and a plastic horse to ride for a quarter. You can probably imagine how ballistic Charlotte was going over all of this. She was too excited to eat more than five grapes for lunch. I remember the days of being too excited to eat. That was a loooong time ago.

Charlotte loved sitting on the horse. “Nu nuuuuu!”

This is one of my excited faces. What? Is that weird?

We had to get Sadie up there too for a cutest-thing-ever photo shoot.

Of course, it was impossible to get a shot of both of them looking and smiling, but we’re satisfied with what we got.

We’ll all have to come back with Daddy next time!

  1. Oh my gosh, that is just too cute at two toots with two poots! Sorry, I couldn’t help it. Maybe we’ll take Madeline someday. Glad you are all having fun. Hi to your family!

  2. I want to go! I can’t believe how big Sadie is getting! Both girls are so stinking cute!

  3. And come back with Grammy too! And Grandma Amy! I’m so bummed I couldn’t be there. This whole job thing is ridiculous! đŸ˜‰
